GENESIS 5

The Bible is a prophetic book. There is something very interesting that we find as we explore the names that are found in Genesis chapter 5. Genesis 5:1 talks about the book of the generations of Adam. There are ten people’s names listed in Genesis 5. Yet there was one that was alive long before Adam was formed out of the dust of the Earth. That was the Lord himself.

The list of ten names recorded in Genesis 5 are: Adam, Seth, Enos, Canaan, Mahalaleel, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech and Noah. Each name here has a Hebrew meaning attached to it. I will share with you one translation of these names.

God or known as The God, Adam means man, Seth means is appointed, Enos means a mortal man of, Canaan means sorrows is born, Mahalaleel means the glory of God, Jared means she will come down, Enoch means instructing that, Methuselah means his death shall bring, Lamech means those in despair, Noah means comfort and rest. Before we put all these names together there is a few thoughts I would like to share with you.

All prophetic words that were written in the Bible or prophetic utterances that were spoken were very important and highly significant. Prophecy is not given to just foretell the future to amaze people but one of the reasons for prophecies is to let people know what to be prepared for. I also love to read Bible prophecies when they show me Christ out of the Old Testament. Each of these prophecies that Jesus Christ fulfilled in the New Testament gives us a clearer picture of who Jesus Christ was and is.

So, let’s go through the meaning of each of these names in Genesis 5 as was recorded in order: The God man is appointed, a mortal man of sorrows is born, the glory of God shall come down, instructing that, his death shall bring those in despair comfort and rest.

As it was recorded, I can see Jesus, the very word of God, plainly in these prophetic names. You may never read the fifth chapter of the book of Genesis the same.

PASTOR MUSASIZI AMON TESTIMONY:

Praise the lord almighty God for this far He has brought us. God has built my Testimony and when I say a testimony I mean it. I met Reverend George Teachman when I was still a student in a Bible College in Nairobi Kenya, and by the time we started the chat on Facebook messenger I thought He would not pick the interest to befriend Me because I was nothing at all and I had not yet planted the church because I was still at college (Bible College) But Amazingly Rev Teachman picked an interest to keep friendship with me until I finished my Bible studies, this was my first Miracle with Him because He was the first Missionary to love me.
We kept the chat live until I started the church, and then He visited our young church in 2017,
When Rev. George came for the first time I thought He would not be happy for our congregation like other preachers. Because so many preachers like gathering so many people for them to come and minister.
But amazingly REV. George Teachman was so happy for our small church and spent one week with us, as He prays for so many people, some with cancer, and so many Diseases, and Many miracles happened, so many people were cured from many Diseases, and by that time people started coming to my house bringing the sick people to my house for prayers after His Deperture and Miraculous when I touched them they were healed to because He had prayed for me before He left to USA.
With the fear I had to host him thinking that He would ask me big gathering as other preachers do. But He became a father to me to which am thankful for upto now. 
When He was coming He told me that He won’t spend in a hotel but in my House And when I had that He wants to spend in my house I felt small because I had no Bed neither A blanket in my house, and I had no money to fed both of us, I liked to host visitors but myself I was desperate, so needy. 
But when He entered my house as I was scared to host a White man in my small House, He started encouraging me, praying for me, and became a father to me upto now. 
When Rev. Was leaving my house He asked for My vision, I told him my vision and prayed for me. And He told me that God is bringing a man who will support me and God did it the following year, when a man met me and bought for me a land where I want to build an orphanage home soon. 
He met me when I was so poor but as He continued fathering and mentoring me, God has rised me and blessed me. 
I thought Rev. Teachman would love to work with Only rich pastors by the first time He came to Uganda but He only followed God’s word and His will. He accepted to work with me when I was so poor, but now I have a testimony to tell. 

When He visited our small church we had 6 members but now they are 100+,We had no church land but now we have a big church land, and to which we are planning to construct a big church, and the church and is already worked upon. 
I had no personal land but now I have my own land apart from the orphanage land, 
I had No hope for the future but now I have the hope. 
I had no hope that I would have a wife but now I have a fiance. 
I had no hope that I would fly by airplane but God did so. 

Rev. George Teachman came as a blessing to me, as an angel directed to me. 
He has walked with me in bad times and good times, He has supported me financially, He begun a business for me which is feeding our children, and our family, God has used him greatly to establish Me, and as we to open a church (VICTORY TEMPLE) To which my hope is still activated that This dream will be fulfilled in Jesus name.

UGANDA

I heard this over and over as I went from village to village to conferences to meetings. “If Jesus heals me, I will serve him forever.” From a handful of people in a village, to 30, to 70 in a meeting, person after person received a miraculous healing. From a person in their home to Hindu priests in meetings, when Jesus healed them, they accepted his precious salvation. Over the course of a one month trip it is estimated that over a thousand people were miraculously healed and over 600 people were saved. Praise God!
